By taking the initiative solutions promptly, Group has also got a good sales result in this third quarter despite the export demand from outside China slowing down and tight raw materials supply.
In this quarter, total 15,568 tons of silicone rubber has been sold, at the growth rate of 31.8% from the same quarter of last year. It includes 10,303 tons of silicone compound and 4,090 tons of gum, which account 35.58% and 35.21% more than that of a year earlier. Meanwhile, the sales volume of insulating rubber was 1,175 tons, keeping the same level with last year.
In the previous three quarters, Group has achieved a sales volume of 39,607 tons and represented a rapid growth of 46.92% compared with the same period of 2009. Among which, 8,640 tons of gum, 27,730 tons of compound rubber and 3,237 tons of insulating rubber have been sold, rising of 27.20%, 63.15% and 2.18% respectively from the first three quarters of last year.
By the way of equity acquisition, Group established its anther silicone compound manufacturing site in China, namely “Dongjue Silicone (Shanghai) Co., Ltd” (SHANGHAI DONGJUE). After some necessary adjustments and replacements of its facilities, SHANGHAI DONGJUE has been fully put into operation in September with an annual capacity of 15,000 tons of silicone compound.
