The Group posts a sales volume of 21,913 tons (of which: 2,658 tons of export sales, accounting for 12.13% of the total; 639 tons of self-use silicone rubber for manufacturing products, accounting for 2.92% of the total) in the first quarter of 2017, up 15.85% over the same period of 2016. Specifically, the sales volume of silicone gum stands at 7,620 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.84%; silicone rubber 12,740 tons, 24.73%; and insulating compounds 1,553 tons, 27.50%.
 
    In particular, as the market was in short supply while the customer demands were enormous in March this year, Li Haiyan, COO (Executive Deputy General Manager) of the company encouraged us to live up to our mission of “be dedicated to doing business and benefiting customers” and strive for a sales volume of over 9,000 tons in March. In response to that, our production colleagues worked round the clock day after day; our logistics colleagues left no inventory through a well-designed distribution plan; our operation colleagues did their utmost to contact customers. Thanks to all these efforts, the past March saw a record sales volume of 9,199 tons, the highest ever in a single month for the company. As we ramped up to the max, more than 1,200 long-term customers at home and abroad were successfully supplied for production.
